October 2024 Energy Engineering Forum

AEE – Columbia River Chapter is eager to present this energy efficiency forum both LIVE and virtually. This free event consists of a one hour technical presentation. A complimentary lunch will be provided to those who attend. AEECRC members who attend in person will also receive certificates for Professional Development Hours. AEE is an international professional association for energy engineers and other energy professionals. One of the benefits of participating in the organization is learning through presentations and building tours about different programs, businesses, and technologies in the energy industry. It is a great opportunity to spread the word about a topic to other professionals and organizations. This fall, I will be presenting on Energy Trust of Oregon’s agriculture efficiency program which provides incentives to farmers for installing efficient equipment. I will be covering the various ways farms use electricity and Energy Trusts efficiency offerings related to farm equipment. The event will be open to the public and will be a great opportunity for folks to familiarize themselves with the Energy Trust offerings and the agriculture efficiency program.
