Reimagining Schoolyards in Our Communities

This panel builds on our work to provide outdoor learning and play opportunities at Oregon schools. We are working to bring together environmental consultants, landscape designers, and educators to explore the benefits of green schoolyards and to break down some of the barriers to outdoor education. We’re hoping to highlight the demonstrated improvements to water quality, air quality, and student health through landscape interventions, and to tie these together through a lens of environmental justice.
